This privacy policy applies to the website annuityplus.app and to the iOS app “annuity+”.
Protecting your personal data matters to us. We process data exclusively within the framework of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable German data protection laws. Beyond what is technically necessary, we do not collect or store any personal data of users of the app or the website.
The website is operated with IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur (Germany) as hosting provider (data center in Germany). When you access the website, the hosting provider processes technically necessary data (e.g. IP address, date/time, page accessed, browser type) in server log files. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and stable operation). Log files are not combined with other data.
The website uses no cookies, no tracking and no analytics tools (no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel). No web fonts are loaded from external servers. A shared calculation link (universal link) contains only the financial values you entered — no personal data.
If you contact us by email, we process your details (e.g. name, email address, content) to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR.
We normally determine the website language from the language preference sent by your browser. If it cannot be matched to one of our supported languages (German, English, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese), we make a one-time request to the service ipapi.co to determine your country and choose the matching language. In doing so, your IP address is transmitted to ipapi.co. We do not store this data. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a user-friendly language selection). All calculations and stored inputs are processed and stored exclusively locally on your device. Your financial data is not transmitted to us.
In-app purchases and subscriptions are handled via the Apple App Store. Apple processes the data required for the purchase (e.g. payment information). For subscription management and purchase verification we use the service Adapty. We have no influence over the exact data processing by Apple and Adapty; further information is available in Apple’s and Adapty’s privacy notices.
In the free version of the app, ads may be shown via Google Mobile Ads. When ads are served, Google may process a device identifier and ad-delivery data. The legal basis is your consent, which you grant or decline via the dialog provided by Apple for personalized advertising. Details: policies.google.com/privacy.
If you share a calculation as a link, that link contains only the financial values you entered. The transfer to the recipient takes place via the communication app you choose (e.g. WhatsApp, Mail). The privacy settings of that app apply to the transfer.
We do not transfer data to third parties other than the service providers named under section 4 (Apple, Google, Adapty, hosting IONOS). Where a transfer to third countries occurs, it is based on appropriate safeguards (e.g. EU standard contractual clauses) or certifications provided by the providers.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The competent authority is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.
Server log files are stored by the hosting provider for a limited period and then deleted. We delete data from email inquiries once it is no longer required for processing and no statutory retention obligations apply.
